The Packinghouse Review was co-founded by David Dominguez, Rick Garza, and Alma Dominguez. 

David Dominguez’s second full-length collection of poems, The Ghost of César Chávez, was published by C&R Press, 2010.  His first full-length collection of poems, Work Done Right, was published by the University of Arizona Press, 2003. An earlier collection, Marcoli Sausage, appeared in 2000 as part of the Chicano Chapbook Series. His poems have been seen in various journals including Askew, Bloomsbury Review, Border Senses Literary Magazine, Crab Orchard Review, Faultline, In the Grove, and Palabra: A Magazine of Chicano and Literary Art. His work has been anthologized in How Much Earth: The Fresno Poets, The Wind Shifts; in Highway 99: A Literary Journey through California's Great Central Valley, 2nd edition; in The Bear Flag Republic; and in Breathe: 101 Contemporary Odes. Rick Garza teaches composition at Reedley College in Reedley, California.  He earned a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing from California State University, Fresno.  He has previously served as a fiction editor for Flies, Cockroahes and Poets and editor-in-chief for the 2005 and 2006 editions of Pachuco Children Hurl Stones.
